This house always fed strangers and lit lanterns for the hunted. Come in — her story is still being written, and there’s a place in it for you.
Free membership · open to descendants, historians, educators, students, and friends of the archive.
The Silvia Hector Webber Legacy Membership is a living archive where descendants, historians, educators, students, and supporters explore historical records, family narratives, and ongoing research into a story of resilience, family, freedom, and community-building in early Texas and the borderlands — preserving the past, connecting the present, and inspiring future generations.

Membership FAQ
What's included with a membership?
Full access to Her Stories, Historical Arts, the Timeline, the Archive, and the source studies — the complete collection, not a limited preview. There's no subscription to maintain, and access doesn't expire.
Is membership really free?
Yes. All you need to do is sign up with your email. There is no additional cost now or later — no trial period, no upgrade prompt, no hidden tier. Registration exists to keep track of who's reading, not to charge for access.
How do I access the content once I'm a member?
Simply log in and browse. There's nothing to purchase or select — every member sees the same full archive.
Is new material added to the archive?
Yes. This is a living project, and new stories, research, and pieces are added as the work continues.
What information do I need to give?
Just an email address. Name and the "I am a…" category are optional — answer them if you'd like to, skip them if you'd rather not.
How do I get back in if I leave and come back later?
Use the "Login" link in the site's main menu. You can also click into any member story directly — if you're not already signed in, you'll see a log-in option right there.
Do I need to be a descendant to join?
No. The archive is open to descendants, historians, educators, students, and anyone else with a genuine interest in this history.
Who do I contact with questions?
Reach out through the Contact page — linked in the main menu — for anything membership, research, or archive-related.
